All three football teams are Friday night victors

For the first time this fall, all three local football teams came up with victories.

For Britton Deerfield and Whiteford, it was a decisive homecoming win for each. For Blissfield, not only was it the spoiling of the Columbia Central homecoming, but also the Royals’ first win of the season.

BD downed Madison 45-7 for the last homecoming game to be played on the Deerfield football field.

Blissfield traveled to Columbia Central and clipped the wings of the Golden Eagles 14-6 on two Dakota Suiter touchdowns and a pair of Tyler Watters PAT kicks.

Whiteford claimed a 38-13 defeat over the Summerfield Bulldogs.

The Royals, however, returned to Blissfield still winless after a 28-13 loss to the host team.
