Paul A. Dusseau, 79 of Blissfield, died Thursday, December 24, 2015, at Flower Hospital surrounded by his loving family.
Born October 25, 1936, in Monroe, Mich., he was the son of Joseph and Mary (Stock) Dusseau.
A U.S .Army veteran, he married Sharon R. Blank on January 7, 1961.
Paul was a self employed farmer and was also employed by Roadway. He attended St. Anthony Catholic Church in Temperance, was a volunteer for Our Lady of Toledo Shrine and also a member of Knights of Columbus Council 7832, Blissfield.
He was a volunteer fireman for Riga Township and was currently a trustee on Riga Township’s board. Paul was a jack of all trades, enjoyed “throwing” parties in the party barn, gardening, his grandsons basketball games, but most of all spending time with his family and friends.
He is survived by his loving wife of 55 years, Sharon; daughters, Paula Dusseau, Renee (Anthony) Camazzola and Lisa (Matthew) Kasza; brother, Chuck Dusseau; sister, Carol (Ward) Close and grandchildren, Alec and Sam Kasza and Mia and Nicco Camazzola. He was preceded in death by his parents; four brothers, Ernie, Norman “Bud”, Raymond and Rolland Dusseau and two sisters, Dorothy Thomas and Rosalie “Pete” Lewis. Visitation was from 2-8 p.m. Monday, December 28, 2015, at the Michael W. Pawlak Funeral Home, 1640 Smith Rd. (at Jackman) Temperance. Mass of Christian Burial was Tuesday, December 29, 2015, at 11:00 at St. Anthony Catholic Church, 4605 St. Anthony Rd., Temperance, where he laid in state after 10:00 a.m., Fr.
