Royal men and women win twin LCAA crowns

The Blissfield Royals baseball and softball teams journeyed to do battle in Onsted and returned with a pair of LCAA league championships. The Lady Royals were victorious twice with 1-0 and a 4-2 victories to complete their perfect league season with a 14-0 record.

The baseball Royals made it interesting, losing game one 7-6 forcing the Royals into a winner-take-all second game for the LCAA crown. Coach Larry Tuttle once again led his men into a league title with an 11-1 thumping of the Wildcats, mercying the home team in five innings.
