Kendall Hudson has record-setting season; more expected Friday at districts

With the Madison women’s basketball win over Clinton in the district semi-final game at Sand Creek, they moved to the final round and broke and tied a school record along the way.  Kendall Hudson’s 26 points was more than enough for her to break the single-season Trojan scoring record set in 1983 by Dawn Pigg. Hudson has 471 points so far this season, the former record was 453.  She also tied Pigg’s career record at 1,077. Hudson gets her chance to own the record herself Friday evening when the Trojans play the Manchester Flying Dutchmen in the district final.
