Two of three pipeline surveys to occur

Two of three landowners who had objections to allowing Rover Pipeline officials on their property will have to allow the surveys. A third case against landowners Dale and Dee Warner was dropped after a survey of land in Franklin Township was completed.
Both Dover Township Farmer Arnoud Schot and Franklin Township farmer Gregg Hardy objected to allowing the company come onto their property to survey the property .
Rover Pipeline is a proposed 42-inch natural gas transmission line project that would transport the commodity from the Marcellus shale region of Appalachia through Ohio to mid -Michigan.
A similar project, NEXUS is being investigated for the eastern part of Lenawee County. Rover Pipeline would enter Michigan east of Morenci and traverse the county north and south west of Adrian.
Lenawee County Circuit Court Judge Margaret Noe ruled in favor of Rover in the two cases stating the law was on their side.
