Britton Deerfield women’s varsity basketball coach Craig Tanis announced his resignation from the top spot. Tanis spent four years as varsity coach for the Patriots. In an email sent to The Advance today he said he has been offered the position of assistant men’s basketball coach at Siena Heights University. Tanis also cited concerns over the Britton Deerfield Board of Education and Superintedent’s handling of some issues at Britton Deerfield Schools this spring.
