Thirteen Advance readership area youths headed for state meeting

Thirteen student athletes from Blissfield, Britton Deerfield and Whiteford have qualified for the state track finals this year.

In addition to Makayla Kaser, double winner in the shot put and discus from Blissfield, and Elli Betz who won the 100-meter hurdles and was a photo-finish second in the 300-meter hurdles in Division 3. , Josh Hall finished second in men’s shot put for Blissfield.

Dylan Murrin won the 800-meter event in Division 4 for Britton Deerfield.

Alexei Groff was second in the mile and a state qualifier for Whiteford in Division 4.
