BLISSFIELD — The Blissfield varsity volleyball squad went to Hudson and thumped the Tigers in three straight sets for the victory last Tuesday, Sept. 10. The Lady Royals went on a roll with scores of 25-9, 25-21 and 25-14 to bring their season record to 9-3-2 on the season and 1-0 in the LCAA.
WHITEFORD — The Whiteford varsity volleyball squad has jumped out to a successful start of its 2013 campaign. The Lady Bobcats have pounced on the competition by sweeping Blissfield on the road 25-18, 25-21 and 25-21 Sept. 5. Whiteford went on to claim the crown in the Gold Division of the U of M Dearborn tournament Sept. 7. The Bobcats defeated Oakland Christian in the finals 25-16, 18-25 and 15-12.
— The Lady Patriots came out strong in the first set and decisively defeated the Summerfield Bulldogs in three sets in their first Tri-County Conference match, Thursday evening. The Patriots won 25-18, 25-15 and 25-19.
