OTTAWA LAKE – Whiteford Township residents will have an opportunity Saturday (May 16) to drop off trash at a community-wide trash drop off day.
The township board voted recently to fund the day’s unlimited trash drop off, which will be from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. near the pickleball courts at Whiteford Stoneco Community Park off Sterns Rd.
The board contracted with Stevens for the pick-up. Items not accepted include gas, petroleum products, tires, chemicals, paint or any type of hazardous materials or waste.
